Zero Hour Mint

Hey Gang,

After thinking about the whole concept of 'theme' mint for many years, I finally pulled the trigger. Better late than never

I have been putting together a series of designs over the last two years, going through cad/cam designers like candy and finally finding a young lady who put my scribbles into her computer as well as I could have ever hoped. The first coin in the series is expected to launch within the next 4-6 weeks.

The first coin, "Forsaken", has come out beautifully from the design phase. The dies are being created now and should be ready within a week. I have chosen a well known mint to produce the coins.

I hope the first coin will be a full mintage of 2500-3500 pieces, all 1oz .999 silver of course.
The coins will come in airtites or full tubes of 20 with no airtites. Bullion strikes.
The coins will have an antique finish.

There may or may not be a production run of regular silver (non-colored) coins, as well as a copper version. IF produced, the copper version would likely be 1000-2000 mintage, while the silver version will be unlimited as far as I know right now (with a possible last day production date).

I PROMISE that there will be NO restrikes of my 1oz antique finish coins, once the mintage figure is released, that will be the final figure.

Several BS members have agreed to distribute the coins from their websites. I am working on finding a distributor or two in Australia since Maggie's passing, as well as a European distributor. I also invite inquiries from dealers/individuals here that have sales channels outside of Ebay. I am hoping to not saturate that real estate with too many sellers.

Or until I change the design and want to pay for another die to be made This is an artistic impression of course, the rounds have not been struck yet. I am working with the mint on recreating the slight color variations in the antique finish so the finished product looks similar to the impression below.

a very large professional mint which makes rounds for a bunch of the retailers we all buy from will be making these rounds. If you can't make 5-15k rounds a week, there is almost no point in even trying to make these on your own imho. The economies of scale are just too hard to ignore.

Hi everybody,

As some might know, our first coin just arrived about 2 weeks ago.
I think it came out really well. The production mint did a great job on the coin and the antiquing. My distributors have the coins in stock now and I have heard quite a few nice things from them which I appreciate. As you can imagine, being the first coin for this new company of mine, makes for a rather nerve wracking experience.

I am in the process of trying to figure out the whole youtube experience.
The first video will hopefully be up and available soon.
Just an intro video, about 7 minutes long.

Thanks again for all the advice and comments over the last several months. I take them seriously and will tweak all sorts of things in the future.
