You can’t hold it if you buy from PP. Someone has even suggested they don’t hold any themselves.

I sent CaptainW a PM with the same content as joefro's post. His response was that the crypto cannot be extracted from the PayPal account, which is correct. I'm a hodler so I wasn't thinking about moving the crypto somewhere else. I believe PP will eventually allow purchases with any crypto held there but for now only buy & sell to & from fiat.

Yep. You don't own the keys. That is the biggest issue with every exchange
