Likewise, we had an absolute blast, it was great to drive out and see the shop in the studio in person! In a single weekend, I went from meeting only 1 member ftf (highroller) to 6 (duck, SA, Jerry, DRP, stouttrout). Splunky would’ve made 7, too bad I missed her. Hope everything is improving with her mom.

If Skype and FaceTime counts, add another 4 or 5 to my list, including MNYMNGR (RIP Brother)

I'd love to Skype with anyone who wants to. It's tough for me to drive around to far away places, but I can Skype. Also the coin shows are always on my three busiest days-- Fri-Sun.

Yesterday, Splunky and I had the pleasure of meeting Silversaving and his wife. We spent the day chatting like old friends. We had a lot of fun and some really interesting conversations, which is always the case when meeting BS members for the first time. Good times indeed!
I'm clearly not very bright.

Splunky and I met shinnosuke, his wife and son today. We did a face-to-face deal. It was a real pleasure. Wish we would have had more time to chat. We'll meet up again before too long.

Added bigjohn to the list of members I've met. He managed to sneak away from work for some drinks and lunch...and I'm ignoring my job for another week lol. Somewhat ashamed it took this long to meet him as we don't live very far apart.

I met up with Mother lode. It was pretty cool. I think there may be a few others on here that live close to me.

Edit: Motherlode and Mother lode are two different members....

Just had a very enjoyable lunch with oktyabyr. He's up from Way South South Texas to my town, San Antonio. We learned of our mutual respect for Tom Clancy's novels and good steaks and discussed some like-minded issues.

Hey J, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks for the encouragement on that business idea of mine.

I very much enjoyed our meeting. Hope to get back to town again soon so that we can dine and discuss again. I enjoyed the restaurant, and probably would not have gone there if not for your suggestion. It was very enjoyable and a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon. Thank you again.
