Did you back up the truck at $14 oz?

Postby rktect » Thu Jan 03, 2019

Just checking in to see who else went big when silver was at $14 an oz.

I did but big for me means about 140 oz when silver was between $14 and $15

Not bad as I am at 311 total oz

Anybody else feel like they scored?

I'm still of the opinion that Ag will test the lows again before we have any sustainable
rise. To answer your question, I was a buyer between $14 & $15. Ag is a "score" anywhere
south of $20 8-) you did good

This $14 silver didn’t align well with my regular “buy high sell low” practice

Below $15 is always a buy and always buy on the way down. Since Nate's NYE auction I'm now on buying hold for PMs. However, might buy ASEs at the $16.95 established mark if any become available. We can retest to below $14 and think adding to the stack when cheap is always a good idea. Either way up or down, bring it on.

More steady accumulation than bulk purchasing. But yes $14 silver felt like stealing. Stupid cheap.

Hesitated, due to glut of silver, but a good price point nonetheless. Did I want to deplete my super secret special savings fund and buy a half dozen monster boxes of whatever.. Yes I did.

Went with my yearly stacking goals, but added just a little more gold instead.

I just kept buying, more or less dollar cost averaging.

A wise man sitting in an armchair once said, "Just keep stackin'"

I have followed that advice since the day I started stacking about 3 years ago. $20 down to $13 back up to current price.
