Have you ever seen a UFO?

Postby lucky43113 » Sat Jul 28, 2018

Have you ever seen anything in the sky that you could not identify? I started a website to help people get answers as to what they may have seen. Please check it out http://www.centralohiouforeportingcenter.us/

My main reason for doing this was all other groups I have been involved with have had one rule that I did not agree with, no matter what was seen even if just a normal star planet airplane etc. I was not allowed to tell the witness so I decided to change that. I am also on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/central ... ingcenter/ please stop by and give me a like thanks

I have visited Roswell before, but have not seen any UFO's personally. Oddly enough, right as I was driving out of Roswell I saw what appeared to be a UFO in the distance but it wasn't moving. As I got closer, I realized it was some sort of large balloon or other monitoring device.

I've never seen a UFO,
I never wish to see one.
But if I had my choice, somehow
I'd rather see than be one. :duck:

Back in the 80's I thought I saw one. I was driving on I-10 west of Phoenix. There was this glowing thing crossing back and forth across the freeway ahead of me. I couldn't figure out what the heck it was and though maybe it was a UFO. Once I got up to it where I could get a decent look at it, it turned out to be a dude flying a jet pack. It freaked me out for the 5 or so minutes before I figured out what it was.

I'm in the municipal wastewater industry. I see UFO's daily, but not in the sky. I stopped trying to explain them.

I use to see them all the time when I did LSD back in the late 70's early 80's. But not since.

Nope. Fermi’s paradox pretty much precludes me from never ever seeing one. The Great Filter pretty much means we will never be seen on alien planets.

I am facilitated with astronomy. It’s not a stretch to think that out trillions and trillions solar systems, there are planets where similar conditions that allow life on earth exist. Maybe there are millions of “Earths” out there billions of light years away. Maybe some of those “Earths” developed millions of years before our Earth and their humans have an ability to use 100% of their brains. Following that train of thought, it’s not a stretch to allow a possibility that somewhere out there, a technological breakthrough that allows use of bent time and space had already been made (we already proved it’s possible using math). Maybe a technological breakthrough of exceeding the speed of light by a factor of a million had already been made. Our Earth might just be in the patch of space yet to be discovered by those by those scouting the cosmos billions of light years away.

It’s also not a stretch to allow a possibility that at least one of the planets in the universe has a completely different set of unique conditions to allow life not as we know it, something we might not be able to imagine or even comprehend. Maybe whatever lives these isn’t bound by the same laws of physics we have on earth................. Thinking in these terms is a path down a looooong rabbit hole that might spruce more discussion in ironpyrate’s smoking thread but fun to think about nonetheless

It is also possible that our Earth IS in a patch of space that already has been discovered by them. Earth could have been discovered millions of years ago when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Since there was no intelligent life on Earth at that point, it could have been of no interest to them, and they would have carried on with their mission.

While I completely agree with your statement, I also consider the time factor. While there is the possibility of millions of "Earths" out there, they would all be in various stages of development. Some would be millions of years ahead of others. Life could either be long gone, or in early stages of development.

Considering nothing physical can pass through the firmament (apparently not even nukes during Operation Fishbowl?), any "legit" UFO one may see is probably just military-related...
