Cauliflower pizza was the No. 1 Grubhub order in America in 2019

Food-delivery service Grubhub, owner of Seamless and other food related brands, released its Year in Food report, revealing the top orders placed on the company's platform across the country in 2019.

The majority of top foods ordered this year were vegetarian or vegan, Grubhub says (seven of the top 10 compared to three in 2018).

Plant based diets allow you to live longer with a better quality of mobility and life. What’s not to like? Though I’m only vegetarian one day a week and vegan for one day a week. It’ll give your stomach time to digest whatever food that hasn’t been processed.

Recently tried the beyond burger and it’s not the greatest but it’s improved over the years. Progress is often overlooked over time.

Washington Post Denies Claim New Estrogen-Packed 'Impossible Whopper' Will Make Men Grow Breasts

The Washington Post published an entire article denying a claim by a veterinarian that Burger King’s new estrogen-packed vegan ‘Impossible Whopper’ could make men grow breasts if they eat too many.

According to James Stangle, a doctor of veterinary medicine in South Dakota, the soy-based Impossible Whopper contains 18 million times more estrogen than the original beef Whopper.

“Just six glasses of soy milk per day has enough estrogen to grow boobs on a male,” wrote Stangle.

Not sure how I missed these two announcements:

Starting in September, Subway, the world’s largest fast-food chain will debut a one-of-a-kind vegetarian sammich at select locations in five cities.

https://vegnews.com/2019/8/subway-revea ... atball-sub

(DIdn't see anyyhing more recent about how these are selling since then.)

Also (and much more importantly  ):

Hooters debuts meatless 'Unreal' wings, claims 'Hooters Girls' can’t tell the difference

https://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/hoot ... real-wings
The Hooters wings use Quorn, which has never pretended to taste anything like meat (and it doesn't), but Hooters claims that they "were able to create the taste, texture and crispiness of our world-famous wings perfectly."

Still waiting on KFC to do a fried chicken version - yum! (YUM is the stock symbol) At least in the US, since I just now see that they have a Quorn patty available throughout the UK, with all 11 herbs and spices.

Seems they haven't got this figured out yet across the pond:

If you are curious to try a plant-based burger, here's a perfect chance!

Burger King is again running the 2-for$6 promotion, and this time around the Impossible Whopper is on the list of options. This is about half-price, so now is a great time to try it. Since the original Whopper is also on the list, you can get one of each and do a taste test of your own.

The other options on the list are Crispy Chicken sammiches (both regular and Spicy versions).

Beyond Meat Barfs After Burger King Cuts Impossible Whopper Price On Slowing Sales

Shares of Beyond Meat have surged more than 80% since the start of the year. News of declining fake meat sales at Burger King has led to some of those gains being lost.

I rarely go to BK ( love their hot fries ) but I have wanting to try a meatless burger. Although I have never liked the whopper :|
Thanks

I remember in school a teacher jokingly said there were 2 kinds of dinosaurs - meat eaters and mud sucking bottom dwellers. Not sure why but it stuck with me.

Veganism Bad for the Environment and Your Health, Say Farmers

A scientist speaking at the National Farmers Union conference has argued that living a vegan lifestyle is more damaging to the environment than eating meat.

The Rothamsted Institute’s Graham McAuliffe said that the manner in which tofu — a protein foodstuff made from soy ‘milk’ — is produced has a worse carbon footprint than chicken, pork, or lamb produced for eating, according to an unpublished report.

This is one of the stupidest things you have posted.

First, it is "according to an unpublished report." I have an "unpublished report" that says eating meat causes butt pimples.

Second, even if true about tofu, who the heck defines Veganism as "must eat tofu?"
