I'd have to see a pic. the impression on V2 is much greater than V1

3 oz bitcoin on the left was purchased in mid April vs. one on the right purchased at the end in June.

I don’t see a difference - do you see a difference? :? :geek:
Both version 2?

I don't think the V1 ever made it on the website. I bought my one and only production 3oz Bitcoin on 4/13/2018 (first day it was offered was 4/10/2018) and it looks like a V2. I have one of the error/prototype pieces SA put up in the April KSA and it appears to be identical to the production piece with the exception of the "2" ounce error stamp on the back.

I know some were done on a 20 ton press and others on a 60 ton press. Perhaps that's the difference.

All I can say is, one day people's interest in PMs will begin to grow again and when that day comes, its gonna be nice if you have any of these ultra low mintage beauties in your hoard.

That is the difference between v1 and v2.

Does anyone have a pic of V1 they can post? A side by side of V1 and V2 would be even better.

27 Bitcoins sold, the last ones were in May 2018. Pretty sure they are all V2. There may have been a prototype or two of V1, but we think we melted down any remaining.

I think that one person won both of the V1 prototypes in the KSA.

In that case there'd be 2 v1, and 25 v2. I don't have them separated in our accounting software.

Woohoo! Thanks for the update!

When is the 2.5oz going to be retired? I remember seeing a while back that is was happening soon. Can you tell us how many have been sold so far?

We haven't really decided a date for retiring the 2.5 oz yet, but to date we are at 162.

Any interest in a Butterfly? I've been working on different designs for several weeks. Special request from Splunky. There were many toolpath and clearance issues. I finally got something that might actually work. Still need to cut and test it.

What size will the butterfly be? I'd be down for a few in the 2-3 oz size.

The silver wants to shrink towards the center of mass so the only issue I can see might be with the very bottom of the wings however, the inside angle looks like it might be obtuse enough to be OK.

I think a butterfly would be cool.
How big would it be?

Also no pressure, but you need to get to work on a Halloween bar - it’ll be that time before you know it
