The "see spot run" poll

Postby Long John » Sat Dec 24, 2016

In the past year silver spot has soared from less than $14 to more than $20 and down to less than $16. Regardless of what you think about political events and their recent effect on precious metals, how are you responding?

26 people have voted in 4 hours. Pretty good for Christmas Eve! Did anyone get the Mad Max reference in one of the choices?

Charlie keeps telling me to "Keep on stacking". If you can't trust a Scotsman, you probably don't know many Scots who can you trust?

I just watched Mad Max Fury Road again yesterday - GREAT MOVIE - and I immediately got the reference and smiled that big smile. Merry Christmas.

OH, THAT Mad Max film. I was thinking Beyond Thunder Dome and this reference to the movie:

Max: I've got skills, I could trade them.
The Collector: Sorry, the brothel's full.

Always the contrarian who walks to the beat of a different Bag Piper, it's buy on the way down and stop on the upswing.

Well, with more than 50 votes, the consensus is to BUY, though not letting spot dictate actions was also a popular choice. I confess mine was having no clue and waiting for inspiration, but that's actually more not having enough scratch right now to restock the way I'd like. I appreciate the votes and the comments. Nice to know what other stackers are thinking.

We definitely had a nice dip barely below 15 following Christmas. We are still in a downtrend since last August, but currently in a mini-pump rally. We had decent prices in 2016 and I added.
