You shorted silver a zero! Your math only makes silver worth $1.80 an oz. Not that it couldn't happen...
Ray probably picked up some silver at $1.80 in the old days
I got my 1st silver round at $6, the LCS guy told me spot was $5. I was only making about $15k a year at the time and my next silver purchase was with spot at about $28 on the way up
I remember starting to stack seriously (I loaded up every credit card I had) when gold cost me $322 an ounce. APMEX wasn't even named that (I think it was CheaperGold.com) and silver was at $4.30. I just shifted from contributing more money into my deferred comp at the time and instead used that money to make payments towards the cards. Not a move I'd advise for everyone, but in my case it's worked out okay. Still have some of those balances from thirteen years ago, but the highest one is 2.99% interest.
On the other hand, tho... I had my IRA's loaded with AGQ and lost 85% of their value before I dumped them following Spring of 2011. I might have to jump into one of those class action suits that is floating around.
