Last Friday, I got a 1963 $5 bill in my change at school. A very weird occurrence.

Today, I went grocery shopping. They are redoing the floor and moved the coin star machine. I found a few dollars in change along with 2 Rosie dimes and some foreign coins.

Hiya All,
Well, for me, it was a struggle just to find a coin star ;)
Anyway, went by one a couple of days ago and found a 2014 Lincoln penny! :o

I tell myself it's good to start slow - steady progress or somesuch.

Oh well, a find is a find, right?
All in fun, true story tho...

Cheers,
Z. :kitty:

I was at the grocery store late last night, and out of the coin star machine slot I saw a silver dime out the corner of my eye :geek:
I thought there was more silver in the slot but after sorting it , it was just a 1961 dime.
I was a little disappointed until I realized that I had almost $2 of non silver coins

Not quite a coin star find. But, I got 2 Peace dollars for face value on Sunday. I went to the liquor store and bought $20 worth of lotto tickets. I saw them in the register. I'm going to give that guy a Starbucks giftcard the next time I see him.

After a year of asking the teller at the bank about old or odd coins and getting nothing but Ikes and Susans, she finally pulled out a 64 Kennedy. Gold plated no less. I had assumed she was just keeping the silver for herself.
