I put a tenth oz silver in the water filling station :o
Thankfully it shot it right back out, the first thing I did was look at the rim and thought "lucky day silver dime!" Then I saw the face and thought something else

In 2013 my son was given a handful of coins that a teller was saving from the coin counter and there was a tenth oz of gold in with them. See-- http://realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=22642&hilit=gold

That is AWESOME! I am living in a rural community now and look at the "return" part when we walk by the coinstar machine but have never seen any rejected coins.

I'm updating this standing Walmart right now. Walked by coin star as I have many times and always glanced because of people who post in this thread. So I see a quarter and dime. It's a 1982 Canadian quarter and a 1964 Rosie. I felt like a bum scooping them but was laughin because I never thought I would actually find free silver in a coin star

I won a worn Morgan and a 1893-S Barber dime. I did recently find a Walking Liberty half dollar in a coin star near me.

Thanks, lucky. The wins came from my coin club. I won twice in a row.

I found a Canadian clad dime at a coinstar in my neighborhood - biggest score to date but I only check it once per week or so ;)

Just got finished reading this whole post and that is just incredible what you guys find in those coinstars!

I just walked by the local coinstar machine for the 1 thousandth time and there was something in it! 1967 dime, a 2 cent euro, a 2005 Canadian quarter, and a pretty 1963d silver Washington quarter! I popped my coinstar cherry!

Scored 2) pennies at Kroger coinstar. One is 1983, can't read date on other, but...they both looked like they tumbled in a cement mixer since their mint date.

They were "found" in a coinstar...how is that not a coinstar find? Granted is not very good, but better than the pocket lint some of us see! :pop:
