Stock Jeep tire carrier and hardware. Jeep is now a few inches to tall to come indoors so I got as close as possible so I would not have to work in the night time rain.

All taped up and supported on the bottom. Time to remove the factory hinges.

Metalcloak rear Sportgate tire carrier installed. I will likely move the third brake light to the empty lug holes or center cap once the spare is mounted. I am still deciding on that one. I may just delete it.

Don't delete it! add the third brake light to the hub of the wheel. The stock factory lights are so dim, its not worth it to delete the third light with respect to safety. You can convert the third light to a little LED or convert all the rear lights to LED- its very clear when the brake lights are on with LEDs.
PS- i hate the stock rear lights on jeeps. and head lights. Its a $35k+ vehicle- the factory should put some decent lights on it!!!!!!!

Well there is my answer. Thanks Kyle

LED center cap replacement.

The headlights on the 2017's are LED. My buddy Code updated his 2016 with some KC LED replacements. They look and function as good or better than my lamps now.

Anyone need a stock Rubicon rear bumper, stock suspension with arms trackbars shocks and coils, set of wheels and tires w/ 500miles on them, rear tire carrier, rear hinges, or rear tow hook.

Rear Bumper Time.

Here is a Picture of the super nice full width plastic "rip me off on a rock" stock bumper.

Front bumper: I ended up going with the Metalcloak front mid width bumper with full Stinger. I chose this bumper because I wanted a stinger that I could easily see from the driver seat. The mid width end caps styling is nice and offers relocation points for existing factory fog lamps.

You can see in the picture above that the vacuum pump is located on the inside frame (driverside). I relocated it to under the hood. (where it should have lived in the first place).

I then cut off the vacuum pump bracket. Inside edge of the frame driverside. The yellow shows 3 of the 4 weld areas. I repainted the naked metal area with rustolium before bolting on the bumper.

Pics of the finished install about a week later. D-Rings are ordered. The winch will be on by mid summer.

I did a few hours of wheeling yesterday. No real recovery needed. We had a few obstacles that required strapping to and working out of the path. There were a few tight spots that offered only one good line some mud holes that needed poking before crossing. It was a good time. Here are a few photos from on top of an old strip mine access road.

Hard jeeping in the Tennessee mountains. Slow going technical, major fun, and no roll overs yet.

Last weekend I wheeled Thursday-Saturday at and around the Windrock park, TN. The privately held park has 75,000 acres of land with all sorts of trails from beginner to double idiot. We stayed mostly on idiot rated trails. They are really not named this. The park uses the standard green through double diamond ratings, but I like my system much better. The terrain varied from rock to mud with ruts, holes, ledges, and streams. Rollover danger was medium to high and proper spotting was critical. My rig stayed at the house as I rode shotgun with my buddy in his 2016 JKU Rubicon. It seemed like a good idea at the time but looking back I wish that we would have taken both vehicles. We camped out, ate on the fire, and kept a well stocked Yeti.

Only minor damage was added to my friend's rig. Rear stock bumper crushed but popped back out, tail pipe pancaked, 3mm scratch into metal length of doors driver side. Cody tends to hug driver leaving to much room passenger.
