When these two meet its all business. Especially with Saban :|
Its a shame that someone has to lose and really shouldnt count against you.
Who else lines up against the likes of Auburn, Tenn, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, A&M, LSU?
Every year
And then have an SEC Championship game, usually vs someone you played already that year

How many Games of the Century can there be?

Astros’ emails reveal how deep cheating scandal went in 2017

Though the email is not proof the Astros illegally stole signs, it comes on the heels of The Athletic report that said the team used a system involving a center-field camera at Minute Maid Park that was fixed on the opposing catcher’s signs. MLB is currently investigating the Astros’ alleged sign-stealing.

The Yankees Hired a Hitting Coach. Her Name Is Rachel.

she reports to Tampa on Feb. 1 to become a minor league hitting coach for the Yankees. She signed a contract on Nov. 8 and is believed to be the first woman hired as a full-time hitting coach by a big-league team.

Club officials said they had hired Balkovec based on qualifications — including two master’s degrees in the science of human movement and experience at several minor league clubs — that were a natural fit with the coaching crew being assembled for next season.

“It’s an easy answer to why we chose Rachel for this role,” said the Yankees hitting coordinator, Dillon Lawson. “She’s a good hitting coach, and a good coach, period.”

Not a Single Team Has Called Colin Kaepernick Since Workout

Colin Kaepernick showcased his skills for NFL teams just over a week ago at a workout at a local Atlanta high school.

However, according to a report, he hasn’t received any interest from any NFL teams.

Since DC has no real football team anymore, we're just going to continue reveling in our World Series victory. Here are some "never before" stats from the season and postseason:

● Five comeback victories in elimination games: Never done before. Odds of five such comebacks, measured from the lowest point: .0003. Nothing approaches that ever before.

●Three wins in winner-take-all games: Never done. All three with multi-run comebacks in the seventh inning or later: Oh, brother, never.

●Victories over two teams with 105 or more wins in the same postseason — Dodgers (106) and Houston (107) — never done before. (Just two teams have ever beaten a pair of 100-win opponents.)

●Come from 12 games under .500 to win the World Series: Done once before, 105 years ago by the Miracle (Boston) Braves. But they had to win only one postseason series. The Nats won four rounds.

● Four World Series wins on the road: Never done before.

How many days until Spring Training???

UVA finally wins against Va Tech after 15 straight years of losing. :clap:

Sure, we're gonna get our butts kicked next week by Clemson, but that's okay. :thumbup:

Francis A. Pearman is the former Virginia running back who caught a go-ahead 49-yard touchdown pass from Matt Schaub in the Cavaliers’ 35-21 last win over Virginia Tech in 2003. To illustrate how long it's been since then, he has had enough time to:

- play five NFL seasons for three NFL teams;
- get a master's degree and a PhD in education at Vanderbilt;
- finish fellowships at Vanderbilt and the National Institutes of Health;
- amass enough peer-reviewed journal publications, scholarly lectures, conference presentations and refereed handbook chapters to exhaust the eyeballs;
- and teach at Pittsburgh and nowadays Stanford where, per his bio, “His research and policy interests concern social inequality, racial stratification, and educational disparates in the contemporary U.S. city.”

Also, UVa athletes are smart. :thumbup:

I'm surprised no one posted about this bad call in the Houston Rocket's game last night. The dunk went through the basket and then came back up to the rim, and almost went in again. I guess the refs thought it came back up through the basket so they waved it off. Those two points could have helped them avoid OT where they eventually lost (by two). Though, to be fair, they blew a huge lead, and they were up by 13 at the time of this shot.

I was at the UVA - VA Tech game. Are you a Wahoo? Or do you just live in Virginia.

I don't think "get our butts kicked" quite covers it. :oops:
