Indeed!
Cubbies win, in spite of more strange managing by Joe Maddon. I'm still wanting an explanation why the Cubs go 0 and 9 during game four at the start, in the rain, without a single bunt attempt? Or how about no bunt with bases loaded during the entire series?
And the Russian roulette both coaches play with pitchers, just shaking my headache.

Nats simply gave game 5 away with their sloppy play. And if Lobaton had taken that pitch when Taylor had 2nd base stolen, his single would have tied the game. And we had Roark ready to go multiple innings if it went extras.

And the curve in the dirt to Harper to end the game was obvious. Everyone knew he would swing and try to be the hero, rather than take the walk. Zim was 0-fer, so it may not have mattered, but still.

They need to change their name to the Caps, get to the playoffs and die each year. (I said this last year too.)

DC sports:

Sixty-nine straight seasons without a conference final appearance in football, basketball, baseball or hockey, easily the longest such streak in the country. Twelve times that such an appearance was just one win away; a record of 0-12 in those games. A record of 3-13 in the last 16 home playoff games with a chance to advance.

Sad.

Don't forget The Georgetown Hoyas: The team has reached the NCAA Tournament Final Four five times including the 1984 national championship, and has won the Big East Tournament seven times, and has also won or shared the Big East regular season title seven times. :duck:

I finished 2nd in the BS pickem league a year ago. After a third consecutive week of very bad picks I'll be very lucky that I don't finish dead last.

This. Watching the Pack win games was one of the only reasons I still watch the NFL.

Ditto. I heard on the radio today that NFL underdogs are +18 games over .500 vs the spread. It's one of those years.

Go Cuse!!! Huge win. I really think Babers has Syracuse going in the right direction. I was impressed that Dabo Sweeney went into the Syracuse locker room to congratulate them after the game. Classy move imho!!! I’ll pull for Clemson as long as they’re not playing Syracuse.

What now? Didn't the Redskins win a few Super Bowls? Are you just talking about games played in DC? I'm confused.
