Was hoping for the Rockets to win. Still want to see Cleveland win this. Korver needs a ring.

This is IMPRESSIVE:

The Kansas City Chiefs officially have another doctor in the house, but not necessarily on the official medical staff.

Starting right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif graduated Tuesday morning from McGill University in Montreal, where he earned his medical doctorate.

The newest graduate from the Faculty of Medicine at McGill took to Twitter to proudly announce the occasion with a photo of him wearing a jersey over his gown with "DR Duvernay-Tardif" across his back.

"This is it!" Duvernay-Tardif tweeted in excitement. "Today I become a doctor!"

He becomes the only active NFL player with a medical degree. Not sure if anyone did this before.

Florida State becomes the first ACC team to make the finals in the Women's College World Series!

It's an East Coast vs West Coast match-up, going against Washington. Go ACC.

Something tells me the Vegas casinos are breathing a real sigh of relief with the Capitals winning tonight. Word is just about every major book is holding tickets with 400 - 1 or higher odds on the Knights winning the cup. I think it would've been awesome if they won it, but I don't think they're coming back from 3-1 down, and the Caps have out classed them these last few games

An "immaculate inning" is defined as a pitcher throwing 9 pitches, all strikes, thus striking out 3 batters. Here is the incredibly short list of pitchers who have done this 2 or more times:

Lefty Grove, Sandy Koufax, Nolan Ryan and Randy Johnson.

And now Max Scherzer.

not a bad ending to the cubs game if you are a cubs fan
grand slam walk off for heyward, a huge salary and a massive drop in BA, Power, etc ever since signing with the cubs.

I guess he gives good speeches during World Series games :-)

Now that’s proper baseball etiquette. No sense in taking a glove to the ballpark, just get a beer! Notice how she even takes the very last sip. Just proper!

I heard somewhere that the Caps were the first team since I think the Penquins in the early 90's to win the Cup after trailing in every playoff series. I think the Caps may be the only team with 4 such series, as there were only three (fewer playoff teams) back then.

First Lebron to the Lakers and now Boogie Cousins to an already stacked Warriors team. Game over.

The Washington Redskin got a steal by picking Darrius Guice with the 59th pick!!

They sure did, he is a player. I was hoping for a few more holdouts until the Saints had a pick in the 3rd round. Whichever lucky team drafts DJ Chalk, WR will be getting another bargain now.
Good luck to Darrius. The Redskins will be my 2nd favorite team now :)

The Local news tonight showed Darrius pulling up to his mother's house today, surprising her with a new car :)
And he said " dont worry mom, your new house is next "
He also hosted a bowling tournament and raised over $20,000 for a local hospital and he played in a local Charity baseball game and they said he stayed after the game for hours signing autographs

Johnny Manziel was traded was traded from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to the Montreal Alouettes today. The former number 1 draft pick and starting quarterback from the Cleveland Browns can't even get a starting gig in the CFL.
Who's football life will the Browns ruin this season?
