Members of the [Redskins] cheerleading squad said officials repeatedly crossed the line during a trip to the Central American country [Costa Rica in 2013] on a photo shoot.

First, they took the cheerleaders' passports. Then, they told them they were required to be topless for a photo shoot as sponsors and FedExField suite holders, who all were men, watched. Then, some of the cheerleaders were told they had to be personal escorts to sponsors at a nightclub.

Matt Ryan's $100 MILLION (guaranteed) 3yr extensionhttps://www.msn.com/en-us/spor ... hp&ffid=gz is largest in NFL history, what will GB give Rodgers? If Brady wasn't a team friendly player what would he be paid? Just raise the ticket prices in Atlanta

Supreme Court strikes down federal sports betting ban, paving way for NJ and other states

The U.S. Supreme Court will allow more states to legalize sports betting, according to a ruling Monday.

The court upheld the legality of a 2014 state law permitting sports betting at New Jersey casinos and horse racetracks.

The announcement will break up Nevada's monopoly on the practice.

Great news for all libertarians and owners of casinos that do sports betting. If only there were a way to be an owner of an online casino....?

bad news for all the sports books in vegas though as the cream is taken from the cup
while it may be good libertarian news, this is probably bad news for sports in general as players now who had to work a little bit to place quiet invisible bets now will be able to do it very very easily thru friends and family. point shaving, throwing games, boxing matches, etc....not good for sports, not good examples for kids growing up either.

Not sure if this is the case. Offshore sportsbetting isn't that difficult. If a player wants to gamble/cheat they could still do it under the old rules but with less scrutiny. Now that the States will legalize it, there will be a larger microscope that athletes will fall under, likely mitigating much of this increased risk.

Some possible new NFL rules starting this year. There will be no running starts for the kick off team and it will be a 15 yd penalty if any player kneels during the National anthem. The home team will decide if the teams will come out for the Anthem or not. :|

Hopefully the kicker will be exempt from a running start? :pop:

Hopefully a lot of exciting kick off returns this year
Also if the ball touches down in the end zone on a kick off it will be an automatic touchback

I don't follow hockey, but...

Caps in the Finals for the first time in a couple decades!

In the conference finals, the Caps only won on days when the Nats also won, so it wasn't looking good after the Padres won today's 4 PM game.

I'm a big Caps fan, so last night was a happy late one.
