I catch my mice and relocate them to save them from the proven chix/rat predator snake.

I got home this evening, checked for eggs, none. Went into the coop and another snake was sneaking up to the ceiling. I got it down, it was 4' long. That's the #5 snake in less than 2 months.
For the last 10 years, I've had maybe 4 snakes...till this year

I just went into my coop, this one was laying on top a cabinet. It was right at 5 ft.
#6 snake in coop in about 4 months.
Plus, I mowed over a big one while mowing the grass Saturday. Lucky it didn't break my mower.

When we moved into our new home, we couldn't take the chickens with us so I gave them to a co worker. Everything was fine for 2yrs until this past week when a black bear has come back multiple times, killing chickens and destroying the coop. They were actually on the news last night b/c the bears are out of control in this stupid liberal state that doesn't believe in hunting. One video actually showed a bear stealing someones dry cleaning and running away with it. lol

Wild hogs (razorbacks) have taken over South Arkansas to the point that they are free to hunt and have no limit on the number killed. Sometime it comes down to humans or animals.
:? I couldn't imagine allowing a bear to have its way with my farm animals.
Bastid squirrels are taking over my place. They are all suicidal around here... run out in the road in front of you and dodge back and forth with a death wish.

Same in North La. Its always been legal to take feral hogs with any hunting license. I have seen packs of 15-20 at a time and areas of the bottom woods that looked like someone had tilled a large graden  .
My little brother once killed a big boar and they almost gave up trying to drag it out the woods when a passing paper mill train stopped and they tied it off to the caboose and drug it down the tracks to my grandparents house

I had a 1979 Datsun long ago. one night there was a skunk in the mid of road. I stopped hoping it would move on.
It ran under my car and sprayed it...the underside. I traded the car within a couple weeks.
I don't know if that smell on the hot muffler, motor and all that would ever go away?
... I saw one in my driveway 2 nights ago, I stopped and backed way up!

First time I've ever heard of a skunk going under a vehicle to spray. Unless the vehicle was moving and hit it somewhere. Been my experience that skunks don't want to spray.

They spray when you run them over. You have never smelled a skunk until it is so bad you taste it. lol

If you are in the yellow mist you may not smell or taste anything cause you plain can't breathe. After such an event if you go in your house your mother may throw you outside right through the screen door without opening it.[trust me on this one]
