MNY's Non-Metal Deal Page....

Postby mnymgr1 » Thu Oct 14, 2010

Hey everyone. I thought I'd throw up deals on non-metal. I love my deals, I love my free stuff. I love saving money. Hope this page helps a few of you out.

In case you were wondering, I post deals here that I am usually interested in myself. I do not post a bunch of technology deals as they are all over, might as well run yourself over to http://www.slickdeals.net to follow those. If you do find a deal that is worth mentioning here, feel free to pm me about it OR post it here yourself.

Please do Not post comments in this thread, I try to keep this to one page or less so you guys can race thru it in under a minute.

NO EBAY DEALS here, please look in the EBAY Deal Thread for those.
.

I DON'T MIND GETTING PM's or EMAILS LETTING ME KNOW YOU USED A DEAL ;)
HELPS TO KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE BUYING A LITTLE BIT, SO I DON'T WASTE OUR TIME

PSA: 5% back CC on Gasoline and Sporting Goods

Postby mnymgr1 » Fri Dec 29, 2017

Use IE if you end up applying, app page doesn't care for Chrome.
If you use a ton of gasoline or sports stores (codes must be correct, see DofC for those), this card is one of the best all year round cards......

yes, it's an NRA card so if that bothers you, please move on.
I needed a great gas card and this looks like it could be the one for me.
I look forward to the cool design I picked in a couple weeks when it arrives.
(No, you do not need to join/pay for NRA membership, the $40 bonus is yours to keep)

for those of you big travelers by air.....

Postby mnymgr1 » Thu Jan 04, 2018

this is a credit card worth taking a good look at.
I have no affiliation with this post, credit card nor receive any referrals.
I don't even have this card yet as I really don't travel much at all.
But if I did, turning 1 point into 1.5 point including transferred points from other Chase CC's including INK, well that's a pretty damn good deal.

Cost on this one is $450 annually but offset with $300 in travel credits, not to mention the $100 credit for TSA precheck that they'll pay for.

There is an Amex cc that is also amazing for travel, big annual fee but has brings access to great airport lounges throughout the world. When I run across the link for that one, will post it.

good luck, dyodd

BTW, if you are a big program user for points, mileage, ebux, cashback, Awardwallet.com is also worth considering.
I have the basic free edition and that is good enough for me. I really love having all my totals on one page, where I can easily update specific programs instantly as well.

sears reward members in need of a new work coat....

Postby mnymgr1 » Tue Jan 09, 2018

you get nearly all of the cost of the coat back in points
remember to portal for another 2-4%
I don't know how long the new points last, have to read thru the entire post later this morning
good luck

As I don't need a new coat, probably could buy one for someone here (free store pickup or shipping) if they are also willing to use up the points.
The nearby sears stores have all closed by me which has been a bummer, used to get a lot of useful, cheap stuff at those stores.

Postby mnymgr1 » Wed Jan 10, 2018

I have heard of them before, supposedly very good chicken.

But a buck a lb is not bad, just need a freezer or share with others
