The crappie looks to be a sun fish and the only one of those I got is Perch and they is wonderful fare.

If you will notice on the popular fishing programs where they catch Bass and all that trophy stuff they throw back in.When they catch a Crappee THEY do NOT throw Crapee back in, cause its some good eat'in..Smoked Crappee then seared before you eat it....YUMMMM
You can catch and keep 30 Crappee a day here...

It was 73F here today and no frost this morning :thumbup: . Wife is roasting a pork hunk that smells near as good as your ribs look :thumbup: . I'venever used a smoker to cook anything like what you are showing and I'm thinking I may be missing something :oops:

Ain't nutin wrong with a Pork Hunk! Both delicious. Smokers come in many forms. Weber Smoke Mountain is simplest. It's really all about the seasoning. Hard to go wrong with the cookin...You should def invest in one there are worth it...

Yep, if you keep it low in the 225/250 range you can set it and come back in 3hrs with ribs, every 4 hrs with a brisket...and that's only to add charcoal....

It will come with a water bowl....water bowl keeps temp well regulated...but you can cook on just the top level and fill middle with balled up aluminium foIL and then smoke in the 325/350 range...for large pieces of meet.
