The sky opened up here. It's coming down in buckets. Lightning all around. I should probably turn my computer off for a while.

Lightning struck very close to my house and set off my security system late one night. I couldnt turn off the alarm and i had to cut all of the alarm speaker wires to stop it. Funny thing is my alarm wasnt even on when it happened.
Surge protectors saved my electronics.

Yea, we got it good here in the 'Cuse. A foot of extremely wet snow and some wind. Mostly minor branches fell and hour to shovel driveway/cars and the plow pile up at the end of the driveway X 2.

According to the maps, I'm in the danger zone on this one. That said, It feels a bit overhyped. I say it's gonna be a dud.

I live for duds !
but snow, I can take snow, love the snow.
it's the damn rain starting in a month here, that I already dread.
Hope none of you got too hurt with that flooding last week.

be careful going into that flooded basement sir, not a safe thing if it was a finished basement.

They all feel overhyped these days  Why are we naming snowstorms anyway :?

I'm in the 3-6, 4-8, 2-4, 2-4, 5-8 zone

Latest models in the last hour show it staying further east and with less mixing. I think it's a dud for me in central PA and the bullseye is moving right over your house

If life gives you pine trees, make pinewood derby cars.

Lehigh Valley was in the 10-14" range. Storm moved east and the temps stayed warm. We only got 4-5" total.
