Your driveway is perfect! But if they make to the back yard... better be wearin a helmet!

We can go a few hundred feet, that's for sure! There's a creek way out in the back that the boys have tried and failed to clear.

If you come around- there's a new toy from Christmas that has gotten some use- the Bear River Sportsman 900 Air Rifle. That thing is surprisingly accurate straight out of the box for $50. It looks good too.

damnit, this cold spell is really not what global warmists were expecting, eh ??
nat. gas prices spiking, electricity prices spiking.
Today is warm here at 15ish but the wind chills are near 20 below.

stay safe to all of you. from what I read, they are worried about high winds knocking out power. 3-6'' of snow maybe bothers people in the Carolina's but doubtful that would impact anyone farther north too much.

about a foot of snow in CT so far. Wind is ripping a good 40-50mph. Should see some nice beach erosion from this one. Time to loot the gold.

Not a record, but mighty hot: Sydney weather reaches 47 degrees

We should change to C in the summer, it doesn't seem as hot that way. :shh:

This looks dangerous:

They had to close the street in Chicago for fear of that ice falling. More pics here:

with the home situation I have, and being me, I just love winter. Don't mind snow and ice, nor do I have worries about flooding with heavy rains. As it's Feb 19 in Chicago, you'd think I'd still be smiling with all the snow.

64 degrees tomorrow, thunderstorms starting soon, frozen ground keeping water from seeping into the ground, so flood watches all over, with 2-4'' of rain expected by end of tuesday night. Some places will exceed the 4'' mark.

Who the hell needs some rain, I'd like to ship you some.
