The Big Short. I read the book years ago and the movie is pretty good...got me wondering where the next scam is being played out... you know, the next one we all get to pay for as the fat cats pay themselves massive bonuses with the cash they get from the taxpayers...

Daredevil (the series, not the Ben Affleck/Jennifer Garner movie) has great cinematography and is action packed. My son and I make it a habit to watch a few episodes together.

I watched a show called "Cooked" It was interesting, kind of the historical, feel good, documentary on the origins of cooking and family with 4 episodes - Fire, Water, Air and Earth.

We watched this excellent documentary on Netflix last night.

Scientists and baseball greats analyze what a batter faces when a pitcher hurls a fastball, which takes less than half a second to reach home plate. Narrated by Kevin Costner.

Randy, I watched this a couple weeks ago. Superb! Especially if you like baseball.

Stranger Things Is GOOD. Brings back a lot of memories of those style of 80's scifi/horror films.

Reminded me of the Goonies, or Lost Boys, or Stand By Me... that kind of genre. Mixed with an X-Files vibe. I found Winona Ryder's character kind of irritating though.

Stranger Things!

I have not enjoyed a show as much as that one in a LONG time. It was something that both my wife and I enjoyed from start to finish! She generally gets bored after a few episodes of a show, but not with this one. It really reminded me of the Christopher Snow novels

What a fantastic musical score as well. I hope Netflix keeps up the original content if it is going to be as good as this!

Narco's was a killer show and can't wait for the third season. Season two didn't get as high reviews as the 1st, but I liked it.

Other good shows:
Stranger Things, great show that brings back the 80's feel.

Catastrophe(dirty comedy 18+) hilarious comedy, but make sure the kids are away when watching.

Daredevil- slow start but gets better as the story grows.

IMO Narcos S2 was better than S1; set up well for S3. DD great both seasons.

Lately I've been watching Bob Ross. I love that guy.

There are some pretty neat shows about hyper cars if you're into that sort of thing. The documentary is called Apex. There's another Head to Head show that's not bad either.

I agree season 2 was way better. Too bad we have to wait a whole year for S3.

Is anybody here a fan of Marco Polo. I have heard it's up in the air if Netflix is going to green light a season 3. Here's hoping.
