Wow! Very cool folks!

We went back up to Fort Hood yesterday. The Army WTB Command staff presented WFTW with a quarterly appreciation award for helping them out at the grand opening of the new hospital campus. Beginning to be recognized by a few of the soldiers there when we show up now.

We hope to be doing some offroading soon on some old tank trails out on the fort. We will hopefully be meeting with command staff and taking them for a ride to show what we will be doing. The Sargent Major we talked with yesterday is receptive but concerned about a newly wounded soldier being bounced around in the Jeeps. The newer 4 door JK's are really smooth riding and besides, we know how to pamper these guys. We have been doing it at Hidden Falls Adventure Park the past 5 years anyway. Would be much easier for us to do this at Fort Hood than transporting them for a once per year event. We will see how it works out.....

At our annual event last May, the guy that provides these tracked wheelchairs (http://www.actiontrackchair.com) came up to me and said he wanted to donate some art to help our wounded. He presented me with this framed 23" x 29" print by Patrick Gibbs called "Giving Back". It is an awesome piece showing a wounded warrior aiming to put down a monster buck while sitting in one of these awesome chairs. The print is signed by the inventor of the tracked chairs.

I am selling chances on winning this print. There will only be 1,000 tickets sold. 100% of the proceeds go to Wheelers for the Wounded - San Antonio. I am eating all the postage costs and shipping to the winner. The ticket drawing will be held at our annual event May 4, 2013, in Marble Falls, Texas. NEED NOT be present to win. If I have your phone number, I will call you from the stage at the event!

Tickets are $1 each or 25 for $20. This is pretty darn cheap. Send me a pm with your info and I will send you your tickets. We accept Paypal GIFT, checks, money orders, concealed cash. The ticket stubs will need at least a name and phone number or email address. All adresses will only be seen by me.

Thanks in advance! Any questions, feel free to send me a pm.

Also, if you look closely at the tree branches on each side...hidden meanings. On the left is DAV for Disabled American Veterans and on the right is VFW for Veterans of Foreign Wars. This picture is really awesome in hand......tons of detail.

Bump for a great charity and a very special item! The hidden letters are really cool. I did not notice until Jim pointed them out. A donation of one measly dollar gets you a chance at this unique autographed piece of American art. :D
