Just sit back and accumulate GAS. Claim whenever you want. It will move up to the GAS section. I havent claimed any yet just letting it accumulate.

Does anyone know if you should claim GAS as soon as possible or just let it accumulate? Any benefit either way?

No benefit either way. I usually claim whenever I want to sell a bunch off if the price spikes.
Edit: make sure you claim gas before you sell any NEO though

NEO Devs (expecially CoZ folks) are a damned good group of folks. Intelligent and engaging. Feel free to drop buy NEO discord anytime and ask them...they will answer you best they can. I have zero "cred" there, I'm just a guy. I would not understand the technicals if they explained it to me.

I don't understand why you are so upset about an ICO moving to NEO to be more quantum resistant. Seems smart to me.

I am not at all upset about an ICO moving to NEO. That was merely one of several reasons the project switched to NEO. My concern is if NEO is really QC-secure or not - and is it now or is it a claim for the future of the blockchain? I'm guessing you underestimate your "cred" over there, but I will give it a try again and see if I can get some resolution in Discord in the dev-general channel. More to follow.

Update: The last 3 days I have posted the below in the NEO dev-general channel. The only response I've received is "maybe erik can answer". I've watched as nearly all other questions other people are asking are getting answered. So I post the same question again. I've posted this 4-5 times in the channel and received no response of any substance. Now I am going to switch to the NEO support channel (even though it isn't a support issue) but it is getting frustrating. Seems like some dev ought to be able to answer this question.....

Can anyone point me to more information on answers on NEOQS?
I've read this paragraph about NEO: "The emergence of quantum computers poses a major challenge to RSA and ECC-based cryptographic mechanisms. Quantum computers can solve the large number of decomposition problems (which RSA relies on) and the elliptic curve discrete logarithm (which ECC relies on) in a very short time. NeoQS (Quantum Safe) is a lattice-based cryptographic mechanism. At present, quantum computers do not have the ability to quickly solve the Shortest Vector Problem (SVP) and the Closest Vector Problem (CVP), which is considered to be the most reliable algorithm for resisting quantum computers."
Which lattice based cryptographic mechanism is currently (or in the future?) being utilized?

Just downloaded the new Neon v 0.1.1 wallet. Cool interface to participate direct with ICOs that take NEO. I wonder how they will do KYC & whitelisting, etc (if required)? I'm willing to bet there will be people not "approved" to participate in some of these ICOs who will try anyway and lose some of their NEO. We'll see.

Well that was quick. I'm monitoring the support channel and I just saw some guy post this. Red Pulse ICO ended already so I don't know what this guy was doing. Easily predictable in the crypto space though:

"It’s not a great deal but it’s a lot to me at the moment I’ve accidentally sent 5 NEO to the redpulse ico through the neon wallet I did this a few days ago thought it might come back is there any chance someone could help me get them back I don’t really have a lot and to lose the 5 NEO is really bad and I’m a big believer in block chain and tell someone different on a daily basis . Just not a fan atm if someone can’t help me."

The Weiss cryptocurrancy ratings were released today. NEO got a "B-"
NEO was one of 5 total cryptos to be awarded the B "GOOD" range, joining ETH,ADA,EOS, and STEEM

Every other crypto got a C "FAIR" or D "WEAK" rating.

Link?

So Bitcoin didn't make the "good" list but EOS & ADA which are yet to launch MainNet are already "good"? My red flag alarms are pinging here.

BTC as you and I both know, has serious issues at the moment. No reason it should be rated "good". No idea on EOS or ADA...I know people love them but I never got into either.

Unless I can tell what these ratings are fundamentally based on, they are useless. Glad to see NEO did well though. EOS is still in ICO phase. ADA is a lot of hype currently.

I'm a believer in both and am fairly sure both will bring very good profit this year. Here's a great interview with Charles Hoskinson( founder of cardano) from last night .

It likely will do well. It has a large following. I'm admittedly biased because their roadmap claims it will be "quantum secure" and they claim they will use a lattice based signature scheme (BLISS) which has already been proven unsecure by the PhD post-quantum candidate (Leon) on the QRL team. So when I see claims like that, it an easy pass for me.

Has Binance suspended NEO deposits and withdrawals for awhile now and I just haven't noticed? I can still trade it within Binance.

Bittrex has had NEO locked for for about a month. I saw the wallet was unlocked for 2 hours yesterday but is locked again. Lol

This is some serious Bull-$hit. Not accepting new users, NEO issues, and ERC-20 token address problems. I have no crypto on Bittrex anymore.

Yes, I have been using bianace and gate more myself at the moment. I have noticed whenever a coin in my wallet there pumps up good they tend to lock the wallet for withdraws.

For what it's worth, the CoZ Devs I talk with say it's a bunch of BS. You notice that NO other exchange is having an issue with their wallets? They could have had this up and going weeks ago easy. I could have had their wallets up and going weeks ago. This is Bittrex playing their games and still holding peoples NEO and taking their GAS dividends.
