I did not take into account the effect this ICO would have on the ETH price when I cashed some out then it continues to climb. It has also messed with a lot of coins being traded to get ETH for the ICO. I'll disregard the FOMO and buy after issue.

Ethereum reached as high as $425  overnight and sits at $388 as I write this. At $4 per token issue price, I am wavering. I fear seeing it on an exchange at $1 or $2 if the market won't bear the issue price. I will see how I feel in three hours.

Exciting times! I wonder how many others are feeling the same way.

You can monitor ETH deposits to the ICO here:

https://etherscan.io/address/0xbbc79794 ... 87cbf89710

Some people are foolishly sending ETH to the address before the ICO is live. Ooops.

I don't know if I will buy any or not as there is just to much talk out there as this may be a scam, especially on reditt. So I may just hold off and see what happens. Good luck all.

Thanks to anyone buying Bancor this morning as I watch my ETH holdings take off.
I will take some profit after this sale kicks off.
Up 2000% from my buy in March.

I'm just investing a small amount cos the uncapped sale doesn't really appeal to me.

Ethereum just keeps on pulling money into itself: from outside, from Bitcoin, from alt coins. It is hard parting with something that may well be heading to $500 per coin (or even just settling somewhere above $300), for an expensive ICO gamble that will take some time to generate profit, if any. This is clearly not a flipper's ICO. Is this item so hot that you can turn around and sell it for at least double the issue price? If the answer is no, flippers stay away.

I know the average cost of my Ether, and in that light this ICO looks much more reasonable. Others here paid even less. "You moron," someone is probably thinking. "The point is Ether's value NOW, what you could do with it NOW, not what you paid." Yeah, good point. You can see I am still wavering, It would have helped if Ether had done a massive correction, but lordy, it's climbing toward $400 again.

Decisions decision... can't make up my mind now. Was planning an putting in quite a few ETH, yesterday decided to reduce that amount by 60%, now thinking of reducing even that by another 50%...

Strangeness. I sent 1 ETH, nothing seemed to happen when I clicked and there was nothing in the transactions. So I clicked again. Same result. Now MEW has nothing in it to send. Yet my transactions page shows I still have 2.05 ETH balance, with no transactions taking place since I deposited it. Moreover, the Bancor countdown clock keeps resetting so that it never reaches zero.

I'm not seeing any balance on my MEW, I had 6 ETH in it last night and haven't done anything to do... etherscan shows I still have 6, am I missing something?

The network is a total cluster right now. My MEW is having issues too.

ETH network is showing its flaws yet again.

Something was keeping my balance from showing up in MEW, but it came back and I was able to send the transaction to the network. It has not shown up yet. Not sure how long it takes.

Come to think of it, in the BAT launch I was able to send a transaction to the network, but it never arrived at its destination. My balance does show I sent 1 ETH.

Well, like the rest of you, I "might" be in or I might be out depending on if my transactions are ever verified and sent. Whos bright idea was it to force all investors to deposit inside 1 hour anyway?

I'm getting nothing, I hit "generate transaction" and nothing happens

Edit... Balance showed up, and transaction went through... it's pending now.

I'm just curious, there's a disclaimer there that says "I am not a citizen of the United States".

How is Tim Draper investing in this anyway?

Oh and I am sitting this one out.

So what was the other address for? (0xBbc79794599b19274850492394004087cBf89710) wasn't that the one we were supposed to send ETH to?
