If you are planning to use a Jaxx wallet for your Qtum, there is currently a limitation of 999 tokens per transaction.

Yeah, Qtum is gonna make me rich, but it will make you a King!

True story - I found out about Qtum maybe 3 days before the pre-sale. I talked to Travis, and we both decided that we were going to buy-in. I also asked 2 of my neighbors if they wanted in, one of these neighbors had gotten in on Ethereum and made some money. Long story short, neither one of them wanted in.

On the day of the sale, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't buy any. I'm not sure if anybody in the US was able to buy any either. There was a problem with the exchange accepting US orders. I sent Travis an email and told him I was giving up. He graciously offered to buy some for me, so I sent him 1/2 BTC ($600) and he got my order filled.

A few months later, my neighbors and are are having lunch at the club (AMVETS). One of my neighbors asked me how Qtum was doing, and I told he it was currently worth $31,000. He told me I should sell it right now. I told him that the tokens weren't released, and that I purchased them thru a friend in Italy.

He asked me how I met Travis, and I told him he was an internet friend and we had never met before. He then told me that I would never see a dime from that investment. I said Travis is an honorable man, and yes, he would send my tokens. He is still in a mild state of shock after I told him I received my tokens.

Thanks Travis!

Tokens for Coins changeover tomorrow. I wonder if it will hike a little?

I tried to buy these on the day of the sale but couldn't so I have been stacking them whenever I can and I have a tidy little sum now but probably not as much as you guys which costs a little less which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. :)

My pleasure! I believe it was you who tipped me off to Qtum in the first place, so perhaps the "thanks" should be the other way around. ;)

Not trying to rub it in, but the tokens were priced at 3800 for 1 Bitcoin, and Bitcoin at the time was about $1200. The token price was 31.5 cents each. Man, I was so happy to get into Qtum on the presale. That was the same price I paid for Ethereum on the presale.

You might be right about seeing some upward movement. The US crowd wasn't able to participate, and there could be some solid buying demand. This is not the time to sell, it is the time to HOLD.

I don't think anyone in Qtum should worry about the Chinese Govt or NEO. One of the real strengths about Qtum is the logistical aspects along with the satellite network. They are opening an office in Denver, and I suspect Australia and Canada will be announced soon. The logistics functions are the "final step" in modern supply chain management (transportation and payment upon arrival for ships, trains, trucks to, and payment from the buyer).

We are not in competition with NEO. China needs Qtum for the "new silk road into Europe"

The satellite network will allow Qtum to be worldwide. I don't think a lot of people understand the supply chain implications, and the Qtum team didn't put enough emphasis on promoting the importance of that.

Well they must have had the swap over and I can't find anything on it yet. Bittrex still seems to be still trading in it. I thought it was going to closed down for a while until the swap had accurd. Any thoughts?

The swap is likely going to happen around 6pm PST later today.

There is also a MANDATORY wallet upgrade for those that have already downloaded the QTUM wallet. See here:

https://github.com/qtumproject/qtum/releases/tag/mainnet-ignition-v1.0.2

For your average Windows user, this one is likely best: qtum-0.14.3-win64-setup-unsigned.exe

QTUM & NEO both mentioned on a Yahoo Finance News article:

Talk about going Mainstream!
