If it goes to $4 there would be a "back up the truck" crypto moment like nobody's business. If only we could be so lucky.

I told the guys in NEO chat if it ever dropped all the way back to $10 we should do a re-re-brand back to Antshares lol. I'm sure most would love a 2nd chance at first half of the year prices on crypto, but that ship has sailed. Enjoy the drop now and get in while things are relatively cheap.

Cheap? Who are you kidding? NEO is more expensive today than it was less than a week ago. It feels like just yesterday it was in the $27 range. Same goes for LTC and ETH. Even with this crash they are still performing admirably. And did I mention QRL? Holding up like a champ above 12k sats (over $1.60) right now. One might wonder.... what 35% crash?

Don't worry brother the handle may have a funny bend in it but it'll still be a cup and handle when done with large gains :)

$278 is catatonic? You have a high bar, my friend. Not many weeks ago it was in the $60s.

SEVERAL PEOPLE I know are jubilant with the current price -- having bought in at 90 something....

or if you prefer 1/3 of current price...... a 200 percent increase is better than any investment I have ever made....

Everything needs perspective in this space. LTC peaked around $400. Somebody bought that top and is down over 25% even at this good price. Just because some of us might have got in under $50 doesnt mean everyone is happy with current prices.

On the other side, when you buy a coin at or near all time highs (expecting it to continue to rise), one must have patience when it starts going the other way. Nothing goes straight up without a correction or pause.

All that said.... LTC to $500!

This. Personally, I am way down on LTC and given that I bought it to cover a purchase, I’d be very happy to just break even before I have to send it off.

I did just the opposite. I made a purchase for $400 or almost 4 litecoin then 2 days later the price went to $400 :(

I just sold some QTUM this morning which I have a bunch off and bought a few LTC on this dip. Next day or two I see LTC heading back up.

According to coinmarketcap the 24-hr LTC volume more than tripled from Dec. 27 to 28, led by almost $2 billion in LTC/BCH from OKEx, an Asian exchange I know nothing about. It dwarfed Coinbase and everything else. Let's hope the volume says something encouraging... the volume was about 1/7th of LTC market cap compared to the volume being 1/20th of BTC market cap on the 28th.

I guess it means a ton of Asians are cashing out Bitcoin Cash into Litecoin?

I don't currently own any LTC, but I would not bet against it.

It has strong potential, and maybe more utility than Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Is LTC really still a "big three" coin when it's down to #9 in market cap?? Come on, Litecoin! Wake up!

It was at one time one of the Big Three in market capitalization. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum. Also the first three major currencies in crypto's history. And then came the avalanche of alt-coins. Some still think of the original Big Three (I do) but obviously more money is in other currencies now. I refuse to call Ripple one of the Big Three, despite it market cap.

If you measure it by marketcap, the answer is no, it is not #3.

If you measure it by legitimacy (ie - is it sold on Coinbase?) then the answer is yes.
