He still has plenty of time. Either way it should be an entertaining day. However, he has already increased the stakes and said it will be $1 million per BTC by the end of 2020. I do not know if we was imbibing in the hookers and blow when he sent out these tweets though.

Why do I feel like we have this same conversation at least once a quarter? Bitcoin dips massively. I tell you to buy the dip. You say not thanks. It goes up 150%. It then drops another 30%, and you post about it. I tell you to buy the dip. You say no thanks. It goes up 178%. It then drops 40%, and you post about it. I tell you to buy the dip. You say no thanks. Any guesses on what it is going to do this time after the dip? Hint: $25k

Bitcoin drops, tdtwedt breaks out his popcorn. How about updating us when Bitcoin recovers and booms higher, td?

The whole market is red this morning, Bitcoin less than some (Ripple's down by a third). Good thing we went through this half a dozen times in 2017, we should know the drill by now.

From the article..

Bloomberg reports that South Korea's Financial Services Commission Chairman Choi Jong-ku said in a speech text:

•There’s high possibility cryptocurrency transactions could be used in money laundering.
•South Korea to suspend virtual account- related operations of banks if they are found to have broken laws related to cryptocurrency.
•Regulator also strengthen probe into cryptocurrency exchanges over price manipulation, money laundering, pyramid scheme.
•Side effects of cryptocurrency "serious"; regulator will consider all measures including shutdown of cryptocurrency exchanges.
•Cryptocurrency fever in S. Korea is much stronger than other countries; regulator won’t let S. Korea take the lead in abnormal cryptocurrency trading.

The market is climbing back, $726 billion now, up $58 billion in 90 minutes. Bitcoin is down 10% from 24 hours ago, but there are many alts down twice as much, and some down as much as 35%. That will equalize somewhat, because those who want to buy back the alts they dumped will do it with BTC. To what extent will they? I will be curious to see the BTC market share after this event. It was 33% before the big sell-off.

Still up over 100% in 2 months. You can cherrypick the dips out of any market if that's your agenda. Why, I don't know.

In my opinion, both sides could use a little humility here. None of us knows what's going to happen.
