Held that $250-$258 area pretty well. Bought some on this dip. :D

I didn't have a buy order ready but did grab a little at ~270 in case it didn't drop further.

I feel like my buy at $150 might not get hit anymore

I just had the same thought. I'm setting up some buys at 200 and 150 just in case but I'm not sure they will ever get filled. I think the train has left that station.

I'm relatively new to this stuff and am making all the beginner mistakes. I was trying to buy Litecoin at 96 when it was 97 and I never got it. So I did the next best thing. I bought it the next day at $129.05. I made several $100 purchases the following days at $163.71, $185.17, $299.16, $316.60, $356.73, and $269.54. I had a bank deposit show up finally yesterday afternoon and I was up last night around 2am when it was around $260 and I could finally use GDAX so like the beginner I am I put an order in to buy at $254 and never got filled and it was over $300 this morning when I got up. So live and learn. I wouldn't worry about your purchase in the $300's. It probably will not be the last time either one of us buys and it drops the next day. I even tried to buy Litecoin one day and forgot to click the Litecoin box and bought Bitcoin instead. Eventually we will get some things right and be brilliant! :D

Everytime I set a limit buy order for LTC at even $1 under where it is, it will just go up at a snail's pace for hours. Same in the reverse. The money I try to save in fees by doing a limit order is usually outweighed by the couple dollars it goes up until I just buy it at market so I can go to bed and not worry about it spiking when I'm asleep and then never ever ever ever going down again to the same level.

It doesn't always go up when you want it to go down, or vice versa... it just feels that way. And I know the feeling. Sometimes the limit order has to sit for hours or days. Just set it and go to Bermuda. A watched pot never boils...

Anyone who bought LTC near its $252 low last night is looking good. Got as high as $322 today and is still over $300 (barely).

Back under 300 on GDAX. The 24hr volume is half of what it was yesterday.

BTC is up pretty good right now.

LTC is next. 250-300 very good to go right now. If BTC explodes through 20K I could see a nice drop though.

*Don't read as if I know what I'm talking about*....

What does volume generally tell us, besides the obvious?
All I know is that it's encouraging when high volume makes LTC go up, but lower volume is present in the correction, because it shows the majority of people aren't selling out of their positions that drove it up.

I don't know, to be honest. I just saw the volume next to the price and noticed it's much lower. :duck:

I've spoken with a few quality traders of crypto who tell me that volume is a less important indicator than you might expect.

The buy volumes on LTC and ETH are just crazy. BTC isn't suffering too much, but is definitely taking a back seat right now.
